Every year, the weather gets cooler and we have this wonderful weather in Florida. It is a great time to be in Florida, but along with this great weather comes many Florida visitors. Florida already has a huge population of bad drivers, combine that with all these additional drivers who are lost, confused and dealing with the Florida drivers and you have a mess of traffic. And to make things worse, you can’t get from one street light to the next without it turning RED.

So while I enjoy this great weather, the stress level tends to go preeeeeettty high driving in the winter time (if there is really such a thing) in south Florida.

Very recently, after pulling into a bank parking lot at night to just cool off a bit, a police car pulls up behind me. An officer approaches and rudely taps my window with his flash light instead of knocking on the glass with his hand.

The tapping made a loud enough sound and was hard enough to crack my window. I calmly roll down my window and he asks what I am doing to which I respond that I am sitting. He doesn’t seem very satisfied with my answer and asks if I want to elaborate to which I say no. He then proceeds to tell me that I should elaborate so he doesn’t have to “whip out the handcuffs” because it looks like I am planning to rob the bank. If I was in a better mood, I may have laughed but instead I stared blankly at him and said I am not planning on robbing the bank.

The officer seemingly irritated asks where I live so I tell him a couple of miles north of some street. He then asks me again and I give him the intersection at which he gets angry and asks me if I am purposely trying to piss him off. I tell him no, do you want my address? He asked where I live, not what my address is. So I tell him my address and he suggests I drive a mile out of the city and he leaves. Possibly the dumbest police situation I have ever been in.

Yes indeed. It’s been a long time since the last post.

Life is busy. With multiple Arab revolutions going on and Lindsey Lohan making headlines, I have been busy much!

So I ordered an ipad 2. Yes I finally justified getting one, because of work!!! When it will arrive is a whole other story but my ipad 2 cover will be here very soon. I would rather they shipped them together but whatever. It will be a tease until the ipad arrives. I had to decide between the Motorola Xoom and the ipad 2. While Android looks promising, it still has some time to go before it gets there.

If you must know, I got the 16 GB black ipad with the blue smart cover.

I was driving home after getting my haircut and I spotted this pink VW beetle. In the car is Mimi Carey! Mimi is wearing a pink do-rag, has big pink sunglasses, pink earrings and YELLOW hair! She is also wearing pink and has a pink flower like all the beetles seem to have. Okay ok so you may say this isn’t Mimi and it is an imposter or maybe a guy dressed as a girl. Well I don’t care what you say, it is Mimi! I got ahead of this car and looked in my rear view, the drive is an older man who looks completely normal and next to him sat Mimi. She just looked so out of place, actually come to think of it, he was the one out of place in that pink beetle. I managed this one sneaky quick shot on my phone, but I am pretty confident in saying one picture is enough!

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week. They are finally gone.

At the dentist office, I was presented with three pages worth of the worst things to read before getting general anesthesia or maybe it was local. Apparently you can suffer from a stroke, have a heart attack, get temporarily paralyzed, vomit, and possibly die from getting some of this pumped into your blood. Oh and there is probably a .01 chance of becoming a mutant with super powers. This .01 chance is the only reason I checked all those boxes, signing my life away.

Well they placed a blood pressure monitor on my arm, two sensors on my chest, one on my stomach, two clear tubes up each nostril for oxygen, a pulse rate monitor on my finger and an IV in my hand. I remember the surgeon said “you are sweating”. The next thing I remember is waking up from a nice nap and asking the nurse if they are done. Turns out they were!

I made several attempts to sit up at the edge of my chair but felt like I didn’t have control and when I finally did I was told by the nurse not to stand up. And then I was presented with …

I was sober enough to take this shot of it, yes a bit blurry but I kept the phone cam as steady as I can and it has a slow focus! I got wheeled out to my car, stood up and got in.

A few important points for anyone else considering doing this.

• You must pay the full amount before they will do the procedure, apparently you will be too out of it to pay them after.
• You can NOT keep your teeth, yes I asked, but they will show them to you after when you are too drugged up to care.
• You will have some pain and your face will swell, mine still is but much less.
• You will be given pain killers … this is important for some. I didn’t take any.
• The .01 chance of mutation is a lie!

Oh and the stitches in my mouth will fall out on their own … I think … eventually.

Qatar has won the World Cup Bid for 2022, defeating the US and Japan. Congratulations to Qatar. The silly people calling the decision for Qatar 2022 a mistake need to understand that not being picked doesn’t make the decision a mistake. If America was picked, it would of been the right decision … YEA OK.

I just saw a cnn video on Paris Hilton getting a new reality show. After my last post, Paris fights Lohan for the title, which I said Paris was upset over Lindsey Lohan stealing her spotlight. And here we go, Paris wins again. Not only did she get the new mugshot but she got a bonus reward of a reality show. Whats a couple of nights in jail when you get millions for it soon after. So I suppose drugs pay the bills.

The sadder part of all this is, people will probably watch the show. Paris, can I have a million bucks?

Ok I will start with the following quote:

I recall your interview on cnn, where you repeated three times that you were a “Muslim family  that celebrates Christian holidays such as Christmas”. You really want people to believe you love America more than they do, yet if you had been proud of who you were and stood up for what you believed, then more Americans would have believed you. Now are you desperately trying again.
